BOISE, Idaho — Zoo Boise is raising funds for its animal commissary during Idaho Gives 2026.
The commissary is responsible for preparing food and enrichment for more than 200 animals across the zoo. Donating to the zoo’s campaign helps support the chefs and animals, marketing director Jeff Agosta said.
“With over 100 different species of animals, each one has such a different range of food that it needs,” Agosta said. “It’s storing those, it’s prepping that. It’s like a commercial kitchen. We’ve gotta make a ton of different meals every single day.”…
