SEATTLE — Millions of taxpayer dollars intended to address homelessness are unaccounted for by the King County Regional Homelessness Authority, prompting the King County Council to consider new legislation to tighten oversight of the agency.
The move follows an audit that found the KCRHA had a $44.7 million deficit and was unable to account for about $13 million in taxpayer dollars.
