City of Huntsville seeks court order to demolish vacant Serenity Apartments

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The city of Huntsville filed a motion asking a judge to rule in its favor because Lurin Real Estate Holdings failed to legally respond.

The city wants to tear down the Serenity Apartments on Golf Road. The apartments have been vacant and deteriorating for the last three years.

The filing asks the court to order Lurin to demolish the buildings within 90 days…
