AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Plans for a long-awaited veterans cemetery in Augusta are moving forward, but local leaders say key deadlines must be met in the coming months.
Commissioners said the project has already received approval for a federal grant through the Department of Veterans Affairs, a major step first reported earlier this year.
