JPMorgan Chase plans $1.2M renovation amid possible downtown Louisville move

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A major shift could be coming to downtown Louisville’s banking scene.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is considering a move to Main Street, with plans to invest more than $1 million into a potential new primary branch, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.

The company is looking at space inside the former LG&E Center at 220 W. Main St. City permit filings show plans to transform part of the first floor into a modern retail banking space, including interior renovations, new entryways and an added ATM.
