LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The death toll in Venezuela climbed to at least 920 people Friday, with more than 3,300 hurt after two earthquakes struck the country’s northern coast Wednesday. Rescue teams from more than a dozen countries are on the ground searching for survivors trapped in the rubble.
For members of Louisville’s Venezuelan community, the disaster is personal.
