Suspect in critical condition after police shooting near Old Town Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is hospitalized after reports of shots fired led to an officer-involved shooting near Old Town Scottsdale Wednesday morning.

Around 2 a.m., Scottsdale police officers were called to reports of shots fired at a Circle K store near Miller and Camelback roads. There, police found evidence that multiple rounds had been fired, many of which hit the building.

About 30 minutes into the investigation, police say another shots fired call was reported at the Maya Condominium complex east of the Circle K. Area residents called 911 to report people running from the area where the gunshots were heard. One caller reported that several people had jumped a fence and were running through her yard…
