Preakness Stakes forced into major venue change with historic Triple Crown race moved 28 miles away to new track

THE Preakness Stakes has been forced to move 28 miles away from its usual Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

The second part of the triple crown goes down on May 16 at Laurel Park.

Sheila Curry, Chair of the Maryland Horse Industry Board, is excited to bring the event to Maryland.
