Man tries escaping South Euclid police as they learn of his felony parole violation

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — A Warren man, 32, came to the station May 1 to obtain a tow release for his vehicle and was found to have a felony warrant for probation violation with the Adult Parole Authority.

He had left the building before the warrant was discovered, but officers soon found him in a car in the Giant Eagle parking lot. He fled on foot from when he saw them approaching.

He was taken into custody after a brief chase and charged with obstructing official business…
