CLEVELAND, Ohio — Brecksville-Broadview Heights school administrators failed to provide safeguards against a healthcare aide who stole prescription pills from elementary school students, a new lawsuit says.
The mother of a student accused school district officials of failing to safeguard against the theft by former health care clinic aide Danielle Kovacs of being “recklessly ignorant” of the theft.
Kovacs, in some cases, secretly gave students antidepressants and other substitute pills in place of their prescribed drugs, putting medically vulnerable students in danger, the lawsuit says…
