City of Amarillo launches new form in response to influx of utility billing concerns

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — The City of Amarillo (COA) announced on Thursday that they launched a new online “Utility Billing Assistance Form” due to an influx in volume of customer service concerns following the launch of their new Utility Billing System.

According to COA, the new form is intended to “help improve response times and better assist customers” amid many customers experiencing “frustration with customer service response times, April billing questions, water usage concerns, and account access following the launch of the new Utility Billing System.”

The city noted they are aware of the frustrations and are continuing to “work through a high volume of calls, emails, and customer inquiries each day.”…
