JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Charges have been dropped against a woman who was arrested last year in connection with the shooting death of a Jackson State University student.
Elisha Brown was arrested in November and charged with accessory after the fact and hindering prosecution in the October 2023 death of Jaylen Burns.
Her brother, Joshua Brown, was initially arrested for the murder but the charges were dismissed after the judge learned he was out of town when the incident occurred…
