CLEVELAND (WJW) – Tens of thousands of people are expected to flock to downtown Cleveland this weekend for multiple events, especially on Saturday.
Saturday will feature, among other things, a Cavs home playoff game at Rocket Arena, a Guardians home game at Progressive Field, the Zach Bryan concert at Huntington Bank Stadium, and Collect-A-Con, a Pokemon-focused event at Huntington Convention Center.
“This weekend, downtown is going to be alive with energy. The energy of tens of thousands of people,” Michael Deemer said. “Weekends like this are hugely important for downtown’s small business. We really are comprised of small businesses across downtown. Our shops, our bars, our restaurants all tend to be small, locally owned and operated businesses and they want and need the support from folks coming down.
