ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The guest soloist for the Rockford Symphony Orchestra’s America 250 concert returns to the Forest City to share his love of music with a new generation.
Jeff Midkiff, a mandolinist, composer and former RSO member, spoke with students Thursday at Roosevelt School and All Saints Academy in Rockford. Midkiff also performed part of “From the Blue Ridge,” a mandolin concerto he composed.
