GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — After more than two years of construction and fundraising, a brand-new apartment building and entrepreneurial space designed with artists in mind has opened in Grand Rapids, called The Emory Arts & Culture Hub.
“We are thrilled to open the doors of The Emory and welcome the community into a space designed for creativity, connection, and opportunity,” said Javier Cervantes, executive director of The Diatribe, in a statement.

The Emory Arts & Culture Hub is a new community center owned and operated by The Diatribe, a local artist collective and youth programming organization.
At The Emory, eight apartment units have been constructed at varying prices, and four retail spaces are available for burgeoning artists and businesses.
