Hinds Co. man found guilty for killing legally blind woman

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A Hinds County man is facing up to 40 years in prison after being found guilty in the murder of a legally blind woman.

Hinds County District Attorney Jody Owens announced on Friday that Marquiz McLaurin was convicted of second-degree murder in connection with the death of 24-year-old Bridge Harkins.
