JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson city officials say a new lawsuit isn’t needed to ask a federal judge to block a controversial water authority act from going into effect.
The city is seeking to extend a preliminary injunction in U.S. District Court to block the state from enforcing H.B. 1677, the Metro Jackson Water Authority Act.
