Carjacking reported at Target in Towson, vehicle involved in three crashes before being recovered

TOWSON, MD—Baltimore County police are investigating a carjacking that occurred Friday night at a Target parking lot, resulting in multiple hit-and-run collisions and an intensive search for suspects.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Putty Hill Avenue in Towson (21286) at approximately 9:15 p.m. following reports that a vehicle had been taken by force. According to police officials, the suspects fled the scene in the stolen vehicle immediately after the encounter.

While fleeing the location, the vehicle was involved in at least three hit-and-run crashes. Authorities later located the vehicle near the intersection of Harford Road and California Avenue in Parkville (21234), where the suspects reportedly bailed out and fled on foot, according to the Turnbull Brockmeyer Law Group…
