A Queens woman was arrested for allegedly leaving her two children in a car unattended while she went shopping.
On May 8 at 8:58 p.m., Nassau County police officers responded to the parking lot of Walmart, located at 77 Green Acres Road in Valley Stream, for a report of children being left unattended in a vehicle. After an investigation at the scene, it was determined that Karlesca Quintero Solorzano, 31, of Flushing, allegedly left her two children alone in a vehicle and went inside the store.
