RIO RANCHO — Two Monicas have been arrested for drug-related crimes, and one of them had fake licenses in her purse.
Monica Montoya, 40, of Belen, and Monica White, 47, of Rio Rancho, were arrested April 23 at the Walgreens on the corner of NM 528 and Southern Boulevard, according to criminal complaints.
Employees at the store had called the police for two women who were allegedly shoplifting. White, whose vehicle was checked through police databases, reportedly had drug paraphernalia in view in the car.
