Car hits Fairwood Avenue home; firefighters rescue one from fuel leak

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A car crashed into a residence in the Driving Park neighborhood of Columbus Saturday afternoon, leading to a complex rescue operation involving a trapped occupant and an active fuel leak.

The Columbus Division of Fire say they responded to the 1200 block of Fairwood Avenue around 5 p.m. after reports of a vehicle striking the front of a home head-on.
