Event celebrates contractors who worked on Acrisure Amphitheater

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Nine bands took the stage at the Acrisure Amphitheater Saturday night and fireworks were also on the schedule. It was a private event for contractors and their families celebrating years of hard work on Grand Rapids’ newest outdoor venue.

A crew who worked on the project for months said that’s why this night out means so much.

“We get to show our family, you know, they get to see what everything has come about, how we put in the long hours and long days, everything,” Josh Grose, of Granger Construction, said.

Groups of people made their way inside, venturing around before show and trying out the concession stands…
