Second person arrested for stealing thousands from McDonald’s safe

TOLEDO, Ohio — Another person has been arrested for his role in stealing $18,000 from a safe at a Toledo McDonald’s.

Kevin Cunningham Jr., 30, was named in a police affidavit for committing the crime on April 25.

Cunningham was charged with felony theft, felony safe cracking, and felony breaking and entering.

Late last month, a different person, 41-year-old Tamika Smith-Anderson, was arrested for complicity and theft for allegedly providing another suspect with a code to open the safe at the McDonald’s on South Byrne Road near Glendale Avenue on April 25…
