PUNTA GORDA — Charlotte County officials recently broke ground for a new and improved fire station.
Charlotte County officials, Fire & EMS staff and community members gathered Thursday to ceremonially break ground for a new fire station that will replace the existing Fire Station 6 at 27589 Disston Ave.
According to County officials on social media, the new 9,700-square-foot hardened facility will “better serve the needs of the growing community.”…
