INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police say a dangerous man was sentenced to two years and seven months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, after a long standoff with police.
Police say 47-year-old Al McGhee of Indianapolis has a troubling criminal history, including convictions for cruelty to an animal, invasion of privacy involving a protected victim, carrying a handgun without a license, and felony criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
The United States Attorney’s Office Southern District of Indiana said Monday that McGhee pleaded guilty to possessing firearms as a violent felon.
