Previously convicted felon sentenced after SWAT standoff in Indianapolis in 2024

INDIANAPOLIS — A previously convicted felon has been sentenced after a SWAT standoff in Indianapolis in 2024.

Al Stevenson McGhee, 47, of Indianapolis, has been sentenced to two years and seven months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to possession of guns by a felon.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, McGhee’s federal sentence will run consecutively to any sentence imposed in his pending Marion County case, which includes charges of criminal confinement with a deadly weapon, intimidation, criminal recklessness for shooting into a building and unlawful carrying of a handgun…
