LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – On Monday, May 11, LMPD’s traffic unit learned that an adult male passenger who was involved in a modped accident on Friday succumbed to his injuries at University Hospital.
On Friday, May 8, at around 2:25 p.m., police, EMS, and fire were notified of a single motor vehicle collision involving a moped occupied by two adult males. The moped was traveling northbound on Blankenbaker Parkway when the moped operator lost control and struck a concrete median, resulting in both passengers being thrown from the vehicle. The driver and passenger were transported to University Hospital on Friday, with the passenger’s injuries being critical. The passenger has now died…
