FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A 49-year-old bicyclist has died after being hit in a traffic crash that shut down a stretch of Orange Avenue on Sunday.
The Fort Pierce Police Department said in a Monday update that at about 11:53 a.m., officers responded to a crash involving a truck and a man on a bicycle near Orange Avenue and 24th Street. Upon arrival, police found the bicyclist suffering from serious injuries.
