MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – On this day, May 11, 1981, famous musician Bob Marley died unexpectedly at the age of 36 at a hospital in Florida.
Marley was born in Jamaica in 1945. He found his love for music in the 1960s and 70s while playing in a group known as “The Wailers”, as the reggae genre became popular across Jamaica.
