Bratz Y’all Bistro to Close After Nearly a Decade
Situated in the heart of the Bywater neighborhood, Bratz Y’all is a local favorite bistro, bakery, and biergarten. It serves popular German delicacies like freshly baked Bavarian pretzels, cheese pretzels, and more. The restaurant is well-known for offering authentic German street food, beers, and wine.
In a Facebook post, the owner announced the closure. He wrote, “After nine unforgettable years, we are closing our Bratz, y’all! Biergarten on June 1.”
Bratz Y’all Bistro was founded in 2017 by owner Sven Vorkauf, originally from Berlin. In the post, he reflected on his journey and said, “I came from Berlin in 2010, worked my way through markets and festivals, and finally found a place for Bratz, y’all.
