Woman killed, man injured when thrown off motorcycle in Kansas crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A motorcycle passenger died in a crash Sunday night west of Junction City.

It happened about 7:20 p.m. on Old Highway 40 near Kansas Falls Road, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The patrol said a motorcycle was going west on Old Highway 40 when the driver, a 49-year-old Oklahoma man, lost control on a curve. He and his passenger were thrown off the bike, according to KHP.
