Birmingham named top city for recent grads to start their careers

(NewsNation) — A new study has ranked Birmingham, Alabama, as the best city in the U.S. for recent college graduates to find jobs.

The study, done by ADP, measured 53 of the country’s largest metro areas based on hiring, wages and affordability for workers in their 20s who hold a college degree.

It found that Birmingham and Tampa, Florida, were the top two destinations, with Birmingham being in the 85th or higher percentile for wages, affordability and hiring, while Tampa had a higher percentile for hiring but lower for wages and affordability.
