Summertime is right around the corner, and the upcoming weather proves it.
It’s no secret that the first half of May has been cold, with average temperatures around 7-10 degrees below average. But that is due to change this weekend as warm weather will return with a pattern shift on the horizon.
“We move into a more active pattern later in the weekend into early next week,” the Grand Rapids NWS said. “Deep southwest flow develops with a couple of systems in play through the Sunday through Tuesday period. A warm front lifts into the area from the southwest on Sunday. We break into the warm sector Sunday night into Monday before a cold front sweeps through Monday night.”…
