KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Kentwood say they have found the vehicle that was apparently involved in a deadly hit-and-run last week.
Investigators used surveillance footage and license plate reading technology to track down the suspect vehicle, which has since been secured. Police have also identified a person of interest, the Kentwood Police Department announced Tuesday. No names were released.

On Thursday morning, officers responded to a report of an unresponsive male in the area of Eastern Avenue SE and Hardwick Street SE, just south of 52nd Street.
Family members identified him to News 8 as Stephon Harris, a 17-year-old who was nearing the end of his junior year at Kelloggsville High School.
“He’s a good kid, he made good grades, he went to school every day, went to work every day, didn’t run the streets, was not in no trouble, he loved his family, was family-oriented,” his mother Mercedes Anderson said…
