(KRON) — A San Mateo father who shot at an SUV occupied by three high school students after the group egged his home pleaded no contest on Monday to felony assault with a firearm. Steven Miceli, 55, told officers who responded to the May 25, 2025, shooting that his daughter had been the victim of bullying at her school, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.
Miceli also pleaded no contest to possession of ammunition by a convicted felon and admitted to an enhancement for the use of a firearm. He faces a sentence of up to three years in state prison.
Two days prior to the shooting, the three boys — two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old — had gone to Miceli’s home in the 1000 block of Annapolis Drive “where a female classmate they did not like lived,” the DA’s office wrote.
