What Are the Healthiest Counties in Texas?
According to Niche.com, the top five healthiest counties in the state include the following:
- Collin County
- Williamson County
- Denton County
- Travis County
- Fort Bend County
This may not surprise many, since the smallest county in this list, Williamson County, is at least twice the size of Lubbock and rests near the state capital. But an interesting tidbit of info is that the number six spot on the list is Rockwall County with a population size that’s less than half of Lubbock.
Where Is Lubbock On the List?
Regardless, you keep moving down the list and find Dallas County at number eight and Harris County at 10, until you make it to the number 19 spot, and BOOM! That’s Lubbock, baby.
