A Gainesville man was charged with child molestation following an investigation that began earlier this year in Hall County.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said investigators arrested Homer Jones, 82, after an interview at sheriff’s office headquarters Monday, May 11.
An initial investigation allegedly revealed that Jones touched the victim’s breast at her North Hall County residence. The incident occurred between April and August 2021. The victim was under 16 at the time.
