RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The U.S. Department of Justice announced Tuesday that a Sampson County man convicted of leading a drug distribution operation throughout North Carolina will serve 50 years in federal prison.
CBS 17 previously reported that Homer Allen Faison, 48, was found guilty by a jury in Raleigh of conspiracy to sell methamphetamine and 11 counts of selling methamphetamine last year.
According to the Department of Justice, Faison took orders for drugs from “co-conspirators” in North Carolina and traveled to California to buy methamphetamine in bulk from suppliers. Prosecutors said he coordinated the shipment and distribution of the drugs back to Sampson County, where they said he sold out of homes and businesses in the Clinton area.
