So, is there a proper time to start mowing one’s lawn? It turns out that yes, Grand Rapids has a specific start time for when one can mow their lawn.
Grand Rapids Noise Ordinance: Lawnmowing
Highlighted in Article 5: Noise Control, Section 9.63, subsection 8, the City of Grand Rapids highlights exactly when motorized lawnmowers and other lawn tools can be used:
(8) Operate or use, between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., any motorized lawnmower or other lawn, landscaping, or yard maintenance equipment or domestic power tools…
