Boil water notice issued for 300 Rankin County customers

RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A boil water notice has been issued for 300 customers in Rankin County.

According to the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH), the notice affects Goshen Springs Campground, Sunset Campground, Tommy Trading Post and Sunset Grill.

Jackson police evaluate impact of blue light cameras

Water system officials notified the MSDH of a system wide pressure loss due to one or more line breaks.

Health officials recommend that all water be boiled for one minute before it is consumed. The water system will be notified when tests show that the water is safe to drink.
