BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) – Tuesday brought record high temperatures for early may into the Treasure Valley and beyond. Wednesday kicks off a major cooling trend.
By the end of this week, we could see a temperature differential of 30 to 35 between Tuesday and Sunday. Wednesday Starts cloudy with chances of precipitation as a new cold front moves through. As the clouds vacate, high winds are forecasted across the Treasure and Magic Valleys. The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the area through Wednesday night.
As Thursday and Friday come around, expect close to normal temperatures for this time of year. Saturday and Sunday will be cooler with temperatures in the mid to lower 60’s forecasted. If the current outlook holds, Sunday could be near 35 cooler than what we saw Tuesday…
