Las Vegas woman admits to posing as nurse, treating diabetic children with fake prescriptions

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas woman admitted she posed as a nurse, treated children with diabetes, and wrote fake prescriptions, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.

Crystal Scott, 45, pleaded guilty to two felony charges, including practicing or offering to practice nursing without a license and forgery, in Clark County District Court Wednesday morning.

Scott faces a one-to-four-year prison sentence and a fine of up to $5,000 for each count, according to the May 12 plea agreement obtained by the 8 News Now Investigators.

Scott admits she practiced as a nurse without a license and treated at least 12 children between the ages of six and 13 years old between July 1, 2025 and October 1, 2025, the plea agreement states…
