SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -Emergency room visits for tick bites are higher than normal across most of the country this spring, according to the CDC.
Dallas Thompson, a Savannah resident, has been battling Lyme disease and its side effects for nearly a year. Thompson was camping in Florida last July when several ticks bit him.
