EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV)- It Takes A Village says thieves targeted its food booth while it was stationed at the group’s new rescue center location, stealing funds meant to care for animals in need.
In a social media post, the rescue described the theft as “heartbreaking,” saying every dollar raised through the booth goes directly toward helping animals.
The organization says it does not yet have security cameras installed at the new location, but plans to file a police report Friday morning…
