ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) – A former charter bus driver is accused of driving students while drinking Fireball whiskey, and a Michiana student who was on that bus is now suing the driver and charter bus company.
The student says it happened while she and other students from Northwood High School in Nappanee were on the way to Grand Rapids, Mich., for a field trip.
The field trip was on May 26, 2024. The student filed the lawsuit a few weeks ago…
