NEW IBERIA, La. (NEWS 15) — Two people were taken to hospitals, one by helicopter, after a three-vehicle crash, according to the New Iberia Police Department.
Authorities reported the crash happened on East Main Street near Lewis Street on Thursday, May 14, around 12:45 p.m.
They explained that the preliminary investigation indicated that a blue Ford pickup truck was traveling westbound in the right lane when it tried to make a left turn into a private parking lot, and a black BMW SUV traveling westbound in the left lane collided with the truck, with the impact pushing the truck into another truck…
