A Houston truck driver was killed Thursday after his tractor-trailer left U.S. Highway 287 and rolled in Wichita County, authorities said, in yet another deadly wreck along the rural corridor.
The single-vehicle crash happened near mile marker 322 and left the rig resting against the northbound guardrail. Investigators identified the driver as 43-year-old Tai D. Nguyen, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said weather in the area was clear and dry at the time of the crash.
