Robie Creek man arrested on meth charge after K-9 alerts during parolee check

BOISE COUNTY, Idaho (CBS2) — A parolee check in the Robie Creek area led to a drug arrest after a Boise County Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics, authorities said.

On May 13, 2026, the Boise County Sheriff’s Office and K9 Roki responded to a request by the Idaho Department of Corrections for a residence check on a parolee in the Robie Creek area. K9 Roki was searched around the residence and alerted to a trained odor.

Michael Renteria Pearson, 42, of Robie Creek, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Renteria was given a $5,000 bond…
