28-year-old dies after motorcycle crash on El Cajon Boulevard

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) confirmed a 28-year-old man died Friday afternoon after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on El Cajon Boulevard in the El Cerrito neighborhood.

According to SDPD, a little before 1 p.m. on Friday, a 22-year-old woman was driving a Toyota sedan westbound on El Cajon Boulevard and made a left turn onto 56th Street.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on El Cajon Boulevard when he collided with the front passenger side of the Toyota. He was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to SDPD.

The woman was also taken to the hospital with reported minor injuries. SDPD says alcohol was not a factor in the crash, and the agency’s Traffic Division will handle the investigation…
