Driver claims legal turn led to red light camera ticket at this Staten Island intersection

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – A Staten Island resident says a newly installed red light camera in Eltingville wrongfully ticketed them for making what they insist was a legal right turn, and now they’re raising concerns that other drivers could be facing the same issue.

The resident said they received a camera violation roughly three weeks ago after turning right at the intersection of Amboy Road and Richmond Avenue, a busy crossing that includes multiple traffic signals for turning vehicles.
